#Smithereen update.

- Events! Yes, events! They're a subtype of group with additional fields — namely, start and end times. There's no field for location yet. There will be one at some point in the future.
- You can tentatively join an event. This is my first custom activity type (sm:TentativeJoin).
- There are reminders for events like for birthdays (you can see one on the screenshots).
- There's a calendar that shows your events and friends' birthdays.

Las mujeres no queremos que nos traten del mismo modo que a los hombres. Queremos que nos traten como mujeres que somos y que eso no sea sinónimo de irrespetuoso. Y que a les nb les traten de nb y no sea irrespetuoso tampoco (y si, eso también entra en el feminismo). @dansup what big projects can do to foster smaller ones is sticking as close as possible to the ActivityPub spec. If not in the activities they produce, at least in the ones they receive.

The biggest problem I see at the moment is that every project is trying to implement the mistakes Mastodon made.
